Last month I introduced a Cemetery Data spreadsheet and this month I am happy to announce the recent release of a Passenger Ship Manifest creation! Now we all can electronically preserve and display our extracted manifest data in handy spreadsheet form. This new spreadsheet features worksheets for ship view and a family view. The ship view worksheet allows a researcher to list all family members from a specific ship. The family worksheet is designed to list all immigrated ancestors regardless of data of crossing. Since there is no standard manifest format, each worksheet was created as a generic form which supports recording genealogically significant information. As with all my spreadsheets, ample room is provided for free form notes to supplement the data blocks. The passenger ship manifest spreadsheet is available for download now. |
