I definitely have a treat in store for CensusTools users in January. I am putting the finishing touches on a spreadsheet unlike anything I created before. It is a genealogical research checklist which will allow a researcher to document over 120 data and source types in an easy to see format. When filled in, you will be able to tell at a glance what types of data you already have for a particular ancestor, and more importantly, which sources are still to be explored. In addition, I will be including a column in the worksheet with links to 40 online sources, both free and subscriber. Any of us who use the internet for research know how frustrating it can be to lose track of which of the many websites we have or have not searched for a particular ancestor. With the CensusTools Research Checklist it will be easy to keep it all straight.

I expect to have the Research Checklist spreadsheet ready for release after the holidays. Stay tuned to the January Newsletter for details!
