Letters of the Month

One of the great things about the past month since I first offered my first spreadsheet is the response I've gotten from people who have downloaded or received my creations. I have gotten some of the nicest e-mails and letters from people around the country. Here are two of my favorites. The 2nd came just today as I was drafting this newsletter.

Hello Gary,

I am enclosing $20.00 for your census spreadsheets. I downloaded the file for my own use last week, and today I put a copy on the computer at the research library of our county genealogical society. The idea is to allow patrons to use the spreadsheets to enter and print census data found in our microfilm and books. And our "Queries Person" is looking forward to using them when requests for census data come in. She will be able to simply type the data for the particular family group into the spreadsheet, then print and mail it out. No more fuzzy copies from bad microfilm, nor laborious hand copying. Thank you for sharing this.

No...thank you Betty. Letters like this to let me know how much people like my spreadsheets really make my day.

Gary,

Thank you for your census tools. They are absolutely fabulous! You have motivated me to organize all my census files - it's been a huge job but I've revisited old files and found lots of new information. Your spreadsheets were easy to download and are very simple to use. Thank you!

Thank you Frances. Organization is so important to successful ancestor hunting. I'm glad I could help!
