CensusTools Website Redesigned |
|
Some vacation time over the holidays gave me the chance to work on a complete redesign of the CensusTools website. When I decided to create the website back in 2001, I taught myself HTML and wrote most of the code in Notepad. It wasn't very sophisticated and much of the code was becoming obsolete as HTML standards evolve. So I took the opportunity to update CensusTools and I am happy to present the new and improved website. Besides the updated style and look, I have implemented a new system for delivering spreadsheet files. Effective with the site update, all files will be e-mailed to users. The new system should take care of the many questions/problems people had with downloading files directly. I have also organized my spreadsheets into Federal, State and International collections. The e-mailed .zip files will contain all of the available spreadsheets of each type. |
